Due West
The starting point
Evan Miller and Hardy Janson sent me Due West in July 2023, the same week We Luv Video opened its doors.
The script already had a clear point of view and two writers ready to make it. What it needed next was a production built around it. I came on as a producer and spent the following months on the budget, schedule, crew, locations, and the practical decisions that would determine what we could put on screen.
We shot across West Texas in January and February 2024. Most of my work happened before and during that production, and I remained one of the film's producers through its festival run and release.
